DeVoid Chapter 3
This house is...... interesting. I don't know how to describe it exactly, but it's very..... different. I mean, for instance, the three of us were sitting on couches..... In the kitchen. Dimika twiddled her thumbs, asking me,
"Sooo.... how's it going?"
"Your house is..... very special, Dimika."
"Yeah..... I remember one time, Dimentio didn't know where his room was, and he accidentally went into the bathroom while I was—"
"She doesn't need to hear that, Dimika," Dimentio remarked, a bit annoyed.
"Eh, whatever.... "
"Yes..... Dimika, I wanted to ask you..... do you remember....."
I leaned in next to her to whisper,
"kissing Dimentio?"
"No, I don't. But that'd be kinda cool if I did."
Wow, she has no clue.... then again, she might have been possessed..... then WHO would have possessed her? And would he/she/it remember what happened? Oh my gosh, I'm thinking this through too much..... I gotta rest..... I snuggled into my couch. And I think Dimentio and Dimika were staring.
"Wow, Dimentio.... Is she doing  THINGS  to the couch?"
"Get out of that line of thinking..."
I let my awareness dim into a peaceful dream world. It was me, Dimentio, and Link, outside in a field, playing around. Link pointed to a dark cloud in the sky, then started panicking. The cloud expanded and expanded until the whole sky was consumed by it. I, Dimentio, and Link were trying to run away, but we seemed to not be moving one inch. The darkness..... overtaking my strength.....I'm....
A face like Dimentio and Dimika's, but with an orange eye instead of a gray one, welcomed me.
His words, "Is she okay?", seriously scared me off the couch, lying on the floor.
Another stranger I'll meet.... doesn't feel too thrilling. Maybe it's because I could barely feel anything at all. He crouched down again, trying to look into my eyes, but I rolled toward another couch.
"Dimika, I think she's afraid of me..."
"Oh... Danni, this is Lio (lie-oh), my best friend...."
"Oh, um, hi..... Lio...."
I got up and back onto the other couch, twiddling my thumbs shyly. He moved some of the hair out of my face, and stared into my eyes. A....liiitle creepy..... his orange eye was....
"So you're Dimentio's friend."
"Y-yes..."
"It's nice for friends of family members to meet each other."
"Indeed...."
"Are you still intimidated?"
"Um.... de-yes!"
"It's okay. That's normal with most people in the beginning."
"Then, I'm glad I'm normal..."
"Ah ha ha....", he replied, turning to Dimentio,  "She's cute, Dimentio..."
I hope he means  "little girl" cute, not  CUTE cute!
"Lio, do you know anything about the void?"
"What void?"
"The one that opened up yesterday by a girl named Annika."
"I know Annika very well, actually..."
"Do you know her intentions?"
"Well, one time, she told me she was trying to find love.... She might be mad because of heartbreak..."
"What should we do, then?"
"There is an item that can stop a void like that.... the Passion Heart."
"I thought it was the CHAOS heart..."
"No, in this case," Lio said, looking out a window, staring at the void in the sky, "it's the PASSION Heart."
"Where do we find it?" Dimentio asked.
"We'd have to search another dimension.... Dimension  N."
"What about Dimension D?"
"That still exists.... But the Passion Heart is in Dimension N."
"How do we get to a different dimension?"
Lio walked outside, opening his cape to let it loose, but still on him. Dimika, Dimentio, and I followed him out there.
"Wait briefly, and you will see how to get to another dimension..."
His cape widened until it became large enough to wrap the four of us into it, in which it did.
"Congratulations, all. You are now in Dimension N."
